Renewal of FAO and Turkey’s partnership programmes on food security, poverty alleviation and sustainable forestry was ratified by the Turkish Parliament in March. Turkey will provide 20 million USD for natural resource management, food security, rural development, forest management and combating with land degradation and desertification in Central Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
